Now that good quality plastic clay was consistently available it was possible to concentrate on diversifying production to the simple but effective hand jigger. The hotels always required large quantities of round platters, so it was decided to manufacture these items. Moulds were made, tools cut and filed to the correct profile and the hand jigger re - commissioned. Training was given in all aspects of it operation.
