The clay from the 'bush' contained so much non - clay material that it was impossible for Kazuri to move forward in their endeavors to produce tableware or quality products until such rubbish was removed , and large quantities of clean clay produced. This could then be mixed with the other strategic ceramic materials which were also available locally.
